  • We never sell your information to anyone.

What we collect, and why

When you place an order

We ask for your name, phone number, delivery address and pincode. We need these to deliver your order and to reach you about it. Your email address is optional. If you give it, we use it to send your order confirmation and invoice.

If you ask for a GST invoice, we also ask for your business name, address and GSTIN. They are printed on the invoice and kept with the order.

If we refund a cash-on-delivery order, we ask for a UPI ID or bank account to send the money to. We use it for nothing else.

We keep a record of what you bought, what you paid, and how you paid. Tax law requires us to keep this record.

When you order on WhatsApp or by phone

Many customers order by messaging or calling us. Our team collects the same details in the chat and enters them into our order system. The record we hold is the same as for an order placed on the website.

WhatsApp is a service run by Meta. Messages you send us are also stored on your phone and in your WhatsApp account, under Meta's own privacy policy.

When you pay

Card, UPI and net banking payments are collected by Razorpay, our payment partner. Your card number, CVV or UPI PIN goes to Razorpay directly. It never reaches our website or our staff, and we do not store it anywhere.

We keep only what Razorpay tells us: that the payment succeeded, the amount, and a payment reference. We need these to match your payment to your order, and to give a refund if one is due.

When you browse the website

Our website sets a small cookie to remember what is in your cart. It holds no personal information.

We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how people find and use our site, and to measure our advertising. These tools record pages viewed and actions such as a WhatsApp button being tapped. We never send them your name, phone number, address, or the content of any message.

Google and Meta may use this measurement to show our advertisements to people who have visited our website. You can change that in the advertising settings of your Google or Facebook account.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the companies that help us deliver your order, and only what each one needs.

  • Razorpay, our payment partner, receives your payment details and the order amount. Razorpay is a payment company regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.
  • Shiprocket and its courier partners, such as Delhivery, DTDC and Blue Dart, receive your name, phone number and address. They are printed on the parcel label so the parcel reaches you, and the courier may call you before delivery.
  • Google and Meta receive usage and advertising measurement, as described above. Never your name, number or address.
  • Our accountant, and government authorities such as the GST department, may see order and invoice records when the law requires it.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.

How long we keep it, and your choices

How long we keep your information

We keep order, payment and invoice records for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. After that we delete them.

WhatsApp chats and enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept only as long as they are useful for answering you, and then removed.

Messages from us

We message you about your order: to confirm it, to tell you it has shipped, and to share the tracking number. We may also contact you about a warranty or return request you have made.

We send offers and news only if you have asked for them. If you ever receive a message you do not want, reply and tell us, and we will stop.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • show you the information we hold about you,
  • correct anything that is wrong,
  • delete your information, where the law does not require us to keep it,
  • stop using your information for anything except what the law requires.

Message or email us using the details on this page. We reply within 48 hours and act on your request within one month.

Children

We sell to adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place the order for you.

Keeping your information safe

Our website uses HTTPS, so everything you type is encrypted on its way to us. Only our own team can see order details, and each staff member has their own login. We do not hold card details at all.

No system is perfect. If we ever discover that your information has been exposed, we tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

When we change this page, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your information, we tell you before it takes effect.

Grievance Officer

Under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, our Grievance Officer is:

Mr. Suresh Jadhav, Founder, Vandana Tools
Flat No. 302, Sairaj Industries, S.No. 3/2A & 3/2B/1, Gaikwad Nagar, Near Deep Lawns, Dighi, Pune 411015
